MEBA Receives Grant from Richland County to Provide Education and Career Connections

MEBA has received a grant from Richland County in support of our mission to connect students, parents, educators and employers to education and career opportunities in the Midlands through programs and partnerships of business, school, college, community and faith. The grant will allow MEBA to host a minimum of eight field studies for educators, offer Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) training, expand poverty training and offer a “Career Focus for the Arts” to area educators.

Richland County’s support will allow MEBA to better connect education and business, fostering long-term relationships between schools and employers to prepare students for the real world and strengthen our community’s workforce.
