Chad Foster to Help Midlands Educators, Students and Business Leaders Kick Off New School Year
Back-to-School Event Hosted by Midlands Regional Education Center and Midlands Education and Business Alliance
Who: Chad Foster, best-selling author, motivational speaker and ESPN television host, will help Midlands educators, students and business leaders kick off the 2008-2009 school year as the featured speaker at a Back-to-School Event hosted by the Midlands Regional Education Center and Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA). What: Approximately 200 Midlands educators, students and business leaders are expected to attend this exciting event designed to emphasize the important connection between school and work. The event will spotlight the work the Midlands Regional Education Center and MEBA are doing to strengthen this connection and to give students the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Working together the end result is a more prosperous economy and better quality of life for all South Carolinians.
Foster will also spend time with local high school students, delivering his powerful message of success in the real world and distributing copies of his book to reinforce his teachings.
