Superintendent Zais Visits Midlands Middle College
On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, Dr. Mick Zais, State Superintendent of Education, visited MEBA’s Middle College, located on the Airport Campus of Midlands Technical College. Zais spent time touring the program, visiting all classrooms and talking with students about how the Middle College has made a difference in their academic careers. Zais praised the program and faculty for providing a second chance to high school students once at risk of dropping out. Special thanks to Dr. John Hudgens, Carole Fearrington and Dr. Karen Woodward for their efforts in making Dr. Zais' visit such a great success.
