Automotive Technology Scholarships
Granted to industry certified post-secondary programs through South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association (SCADA) and Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES)
Graduating seniors of high school automotive technology programs, auto service and collision repair, are eligible to apply for scholarships to an industry certified technical college program. Non-AYES students are eligible for $1000 scholarship, renewable for second year based on grades. AYES graduates are eligible for $1500 scholarship, renewable for second year based on grades.

Columbia Museum of Art Summer Camp Scholarship Application
Eligibility Criteria: This scholarship is available to children ages 4 to 14 who need financial assistance to attend camp at the Columbia Museum of Art and who reside within the state of South Carolina.
Selection Criteria: The Columbia Museum of Art’s Summer Camp Scholarship Committee will award scholarships, subject to available funding, of up to one week of camp per child based on the following: 1) Submission of a complete application; 2) Adherence to the above eligibility criteria; 3) Persuasiveness of the Parent’s/Nominating Organization’s representative’s nominating statement.

IT-oLogy Summer IT Camp
IT-oLogy Summer Camp is a partnership between IT-oLogy and the Challenging Horizons Program (CHP). The activities of the camp will support the goal of developing well-rounded, physically and mentally fit students on a trajectory to be a leader, scholar, entrepreneur or enlightened user of IT and related managerial skills.
Lexington Medical Center - Partners Summer Health Career Awareness Program
This program is designed to introduce the healthcare industry to bright, enthusiastic high school students of Lexington County, whom have a genuine interest in a healthcare career. The program is in its 21st year. LMC has extended offers to 60 students from local (Lexington County) students and/or residents (a combination of rising juniors and seniors). This year one rising senior from each of the school represented will be chosen as a recipient for a $1000 Book Scholarship to be used during their freshman year of college. Midlands HR Association Scholarship
First established in 2004 this $1000 scholarship is provided for students in the Machine Tool Technology and Industrial Maintenance Programs at Midlands Technical College. This award program is offered yearly through the Midlands Human Resource Association which is primarily HR professionals from industrial and manufacturing firms throughout the midlands area.
Selection is made by a committee from MTC faculty and staff based on the criteria listed below:
- Preference given to H.S. students who are graduates of the area Vocational Technical school programs continuing in the Machine Tool and /or Industrial Maintenance program.
- Current MTC students continuing in either of these programs.
- Letter of recommendation from H.S. teacher or MTC educator.
- Preference provided to qualified minorities and/or females continuing their education in one of these nontraditional career fields

National Guard Association of South Carolina
It's that time, again!! Start planning for the 2011-2012 college year. Summer Educational Opportunities for "RISING" 7th & 8th Graders

Through clinical rotations and instructional time, students will be exposed to life in a hospital and will be provided an opportunity to consider the health care field as part of their future. SPACE IS LIMITED. Applications will be accepted between March 1, 2012, and April 1, 2012.

Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Awards Program, through Zonta Club of Columbia and Zonta International
Zonta International’s Young Women in Public Affairs Awards recognize young women for their demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to leadership in public policy, government and volunteer organizations.
There have been a few changes to the eligibility criteria for the 2012 Young Women in Public Affairs Award. Those changes our outlined below.
- Applicants must be 16 to 19 years old.
- Applicants must be living or studying in a Zonta district or region at the time of application.
Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of the following:
- Experience in local or student government
- Knowledge of Zonta International and its programs
- Advocating on behalf of Zonta International’s mission to advance the status of women worldwide.
Applications for the 2012 Young Women in Public Affairs Award are now available on the Zonta International website. Please note that the application has been revised and make sure that all applicants use the 2011 version.
Your club can also download the 2012 YWPA poster, with places to add your club’s application deadline and contact information, to promote this program in your local community.
