Every 26 seconds, a student drops out of school.
Whether or not a student completes high school is a key factor in how well he or she will live in the next 50 years, with the outcome impacting not only the individual but also the community as a whole.
MEBA works to reduce the dropout rate by building education and business partnerships to show students the relationship between learning and earning. Through various business involvement opportunities, educator training and career development programs and resources, MEBA helps students transition successfully from school to work.
Kudos to MEBA for the fantastic presentation over the last two days regarding the struggles of today’s youth and how to reach them through relationship building and relevancy! Please keep up the great work that you are doing!Susan ParkerRichland School District Two
